An elegant restaurant with an exquisite maritime menu, good beverage, excellent service, hospitality and solid branch experience. The restaurant lies right next to the quay of Oslo, offering the best view of the Oslo fjord, in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has over 400 seats, including a chambre sèparèe, the Hamsums bar and the outdoor restaurant. THE SEASONS Fish and shellfish are products that should be treated with respect and honour. We have therefore chosen to follow the seasons to ensure that we get the best quality products available. Preparation and garnish may vary but our philosophy is that the result should. Entice all our senses as well as satisfy our expectations. All of this should be completed with good beverages, generosity and hospitality. With these simple but yet ambotious words we welcome you to Lofoten Fish restaurant. From January to March it is high season for fresh Cod which serve traditionally with liver and roe. In April we open our restaurant outside. The restaurant then increases in size. From 130 chairs inside to a total of about 300 that including 50 bar seats outside. The tables are set with white tablecloths and oil lamps to ensure that the meal is made as pleasant as possible. This is a very well recommended place for your business dinner. The summer season offers a large selection of shells and crustaceans and we would therefore especially like to recommend our Porte Plateau Luxus that is served with tzatsiki, aïoli and vinaigrette. In addition to this we always have live Norwegian and American lobsters in our tank. The season lasts until the end of September. On the first monday in October, for the most eager, the ?lutefisk? arrives. As the months of November and December are very busy we have two seatings. The first starts at 17.00 and ends at 20.30,the second starts at 21.00.This is to ensure that as many people as possible are able to visit us. Besides these special seasons, we have, all year around, fresh Norwegian and American lobster taken direct from the tank. The waterfront view is splendid in the evening. If you have traveled to Oslo, you owe it to yourself to enjoy this special dining treat. I have traveled around the world and found nothing better.
