Nov 19, 2008 Went here on our last day of a conference to celebrate a week of adventurous boat cruising. It was a rainy wet day, but the weather cleared up towards the night and we had a clear view looking out of the city from within the restaurant. We were greeted with a trio of appetizers "a taste of norway" comprising scallops, crab, and another dish that was absolutely tasty. Then we were served a 3 course meal with an absolute insane amount of food. I'm not sure how the food is usually served as we were several hundred in the room, but they brought out large platters of food and served each person from that platter. Which is nice because you could customize a bit what you want. The dessert platter came out with a number of pastries and lefse. Mmm, good, but I was so stuffed by then already. :) Dec 3, 2008 Really nice old-times atmosphere and a fantastic location at the top of the Bergen fenicular. The food was a little old-fashioned, like what you'd expect high-end restaurants to be serving in the 70s, but it was also surprisingly good. Vegetarians be warned - your options will be very limited and not terribly appealing. Meat-eaters - the lamb is ridiculously good. Related Links
