I am not a fan of Manila's traffic but the buildings are the nearest we can compare to the busy hubs of the big cities of the world. Back when I was young, I have always wanted to work in Manila-- the people just look so professional.
But when I got older, knowing the beat of Makati, it just brings me back to that childhood feeling, no matter how raucious it may seem!

Great place to shop. Lots of nice hotels in the area; walking distance. There's also condos to rent for vacations.

Less rigid than Makati CBD but amazingly diverse and fun. You get the best of both worlds!
