This was the worst dining experience we have EVER had in Cebu. We really like local no frills so the fact it is a dump didn't scare us. Our main courses were lapu-lapu in tinola and two lobsters. The taste of the food was only marginal at best, the tinola was tasteless and the lobster was way over cooked. The bunch of flies thought it was acceptable. The beggars could be heard yelling all the way on the third floor. Again we live here so we are used to this. What we can't stand is getting ripped off at the end. The bill came with just one number 3500 pesos. We were told when we picked the lobster it was 1250 and the fish was 250. Even bad mathematicians can figure out that two drinks and some rice does not cost 2000! When we had the hostess itemize the bill she started to add in cooking fees and anything else she could possibly think of and she could only ever get the bill to just over 2000. She finally said OK I will give you a discount. I think in English that means I can't think of any other way to rip you off. You can get a similar meal at AA or Neo Neo for 500 total and it the taste is million times better. Do yourself a favor stay away from this rip off dump!

if you're looking for a sophisticated restaurant, you're not gonna find it here. sutukil is a dive. you dine next to the seafood market, and the semi polluted seas of mactan island. you come here definitely for the food, not the ambience.
