Very cheap, absolutely shoe-string cafe/pub/restaurant. Cheap but very filling snacks, including a Mexican-style soup, crepes with French cheese, toasts etc.
The best cheesecake in town (if you pick the one with cherries and ice cream).

Walking distance from Plac Nowy which is the heart of Kazimierz district.

If you're going from the main railway station, get a tram no. 13 (going in the direction of "Biezanow Nowy") or a tram no. 24 (in the direction of "Kurdwanow). Hop off from the tram at a stop called "Miodowa". Enter Miodowa Street and turn right when you reach Estery Street which crosses Miodowa Street on its right side. Then, not changing the direction of your walking, pass Plac Nowy (the New Square) and there is Jozefa Street.

Absolutely charming place - pretty tiny, but cosy, with a nice patio inside which is operating during the summer. The waitresses are most kind. The whole staff speaks English pretty well. The prices are very low and it's the best place to go if you're tight on your budget. However, if you are very, very hungry, I would recommend you to go somewhere else since the portions are very filling but not big enough for someone who's starving.
