You wouldn't say that on Calea Floreasca, which is rooted out by the pigs in charge with its rehabilitation, the same pigs who uncovered it on one traffic direction two months ago, at least, and who have done NOTHING since, as it is fit for the thick-skinned fellows who are up to their elbows in the local budget, again you wouldn't say that someone could think of opening a cafe there. You wouldn't say it, but Fito is for real, you can take a break, touch it, you can even order, if you find a parking place nearby, you lucky one! It's run by Beatrice Romanescu, the former table tennis pro.
The place looks fresh, since it wants to be a promoter of healthy fooddrink; it has a modernly modern style and its painting borders on apple green. This is restful for the eye and relaxing for the mind.
The menu is fancifully fancy , displaying dishes in which salads sound perfect. Unfortunately, I had just eaten before I stopped at FitoCafe, so I left the salads for next time, but the coffee is exceptionally good, it really has a special flavor. I also tried a more special cocktail that proved to be quite unusual even: it came on a tray with three little glasses, each of them containing a different kind of juice: apple, melon and strawberry. The coup de theatre came from the vial of ginseng whose straw was emerging from among the little glasses on the tray; I even got scared, as it looked like something else. I understood that the owner still loved the sport that made her famous, because I sort of ping-ponged my way from one little glass to another. I think that special cocktail was prepared on purpose!
Anyway, although it had a strange appearance, I must admit that all that stage direction involving the small containers wasn't bad as a sensation. Not even the ginseng in the vial. However, the strong point is the coffee. The serving was impeccable, a little shy though.
