This is a great restaurant. Standard Slovenian restaurants are, like, meat on plate. But here, they take care about the presentation, quirky stuff like horse meat and octopus making clever dishes, and they really taste deep and nuanced. I was really impressed.
I don't know how this site comes up with the location, but the map, at this point, is all wrong. It's at the foot of the castle, on the opposite side from the funicular. go to http://www.spajza-restaurant.si/
