Getting there:
I don't know the address, but the restaurant is in Zazpikaleak (the old section of Bilbao, lit. "the seven streets"), between the cathedral and the river.

Aug 27, 2010 Despite the unassuming appearance of Inakiren, several features make it noteworthy: many of its patrons appear to be locals, although the location is one of the city's main areas for tourism. The food is simple and apparently traditional, but very well prepared, inexpensive, and provided in more than adequate amounts. Probably the best thing I can say to recommend this place is that the waitress went above and beyond in explaining various dishes and generally making us feel at home--this while tending bar and waiting on the other tables as well. The single warning I would give to prospective diners is this: in Euskara/Basque, "gizonak" means "men," and "emakumeak" means "women." A decent knowledge of Spanish might also be necessary to get the full experience.
