Although this is pretty restaurant with a lovely view of the Traverines, and even a swimming pool filled with the famed mineral water, I don't recommend going there.
Looking down from the restaurant's balcony. I noticed a Boxer dog on a chain. I went down to take a look at it and found another, dog, a Rottweiler shut in a small dark room under the restaurant by itself.
During my stay in Pamukkale, I checked on the dogs three times and the Boxer, which was definitely dehydrated, had no water. In 40 degree heat, this is totally unacceptable. I brought the dog three litres of water which he drank all of. I also realized that the Rottweiler was shut in the room permanently.
I talked to the owners and all they did was remove the Boxer from view.
Neither of the dogs were abused, judging by their sweet natures, but definitely suffering from neglect. Very sad.
Don't go to this restaurant.
