We decided not to go for the antipasti buffet as we are not big buffet fans, but instead I started with a caprese salad, and my husband had the melanzane. This was accompanied by a very delicious bottle of Italian wine, namely a Villa Antinori Toscana 2004 and some delicious bread. I followed my salad with a spaghetti carbonara, made with pancetta and topped with freshly grated parmesan, delicious. My husband had the rack of lamb crusted with sun-dried tomato, served with ribbons of zuchini and potatoes. I then ordered the tiramisu which was disappointing, too much cream and not enough coffee or biscuit. I didn't finish it. Hubby had two grappas, from the same estate as the wine earlier, with an espresso. Our bill was 850 dirhams without any additional tip (this does include tax and service). We really enjoyed the evening altogether and will be back.
