Jun 30, 2008 Opened in 1890, the Samoa Cookhouse is an historic restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is an old lumber camp and the dining experience is lumberjack style. You are seated at large wooden tables, family style and brought fresh, homemade bread, large slabs of meats, and all of the sides to go along. Delicious homemade pie is served for dessert. The experience is fun and unique. After eating you can go to the logging museum and visit the gift shop. It's a fun place for everyone, and it's located right on the ocean. Aug 27, 2008 Small cost, huge portions. Whatever you do don't eat the bread. Cause once you start it is hard to stop and you are going to want to eat the rest of your meal. Family friendly and friendly on your wallet. Come as a couple and meet new people or come as a family and dominate a table.
