Having been to Mario Batali's more casual restaurant, Pizzeria Mozza, I was curious to see what his more formal restaurant was like. The opportunity to eat at Osteria Mozza came up when Pizzeria Mozza was fully booked. Service was impeccable, the food was delicious - especially the 99% chocolate cake. At the end of it though, as good as everything was, I did find the price point too high to say it was great value. Would I go again? Probably, but not without a very special occasion or a very big raise.

Loved everything about this place. Service was the best (by FAR) I've ever seen, and I wish I could go back and make a meal out of every dish we shared at the table. It's such a shame that these sorts of experiences are so expensive in America. Good food and good service are hard to come by in general and Osteria has them in spades. Would definitely go back. Hell, I'd fly to LA just to eat here.
