This is my new favourite place to go when I don't feel like cooking dinner. I had walked past it for months but never went in. Then one day I didn't feel like cooking for dinner and they happened to be open - open till midnight! Well then, this was the signal to check 'em out. Off went my roommates and I. We came at around 8:30pm and were happy to note they serve dim sum at night! In fact from 9:00pm on, they have a special menu for a lower price - 3 dim sum items for $10, braised pot dishes for around $9-$10. The food tasted like it was freshly steamed and good. Yum. :) Custard buns on the menu. Double yum. :) I'd say their regular prices are a bit pricey but the late night dinner is great. And even at regular prices, their seafood eggplant braised pot is among the best I've tried.

Craving for quality dim sum at 9pm at night? Fu Lam Mum is your answer. This Chinese restaurant is open and airy with a lofty second floor. Excellent customer serivce - manager "Ben" comes around to greet customer all the time. Also highly recommended for family style dinner. Seafood clay pot dish is awesome. ~$15 a dish is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

If you want to eat past 9pm in Mountain View and aren't into 7-11 cheeseburger hot dogs, you don't have many options. FLM has a decent late night menu and the owner and manager are very friendly. Service is fast. Food is pretty decent too.
The dim sum is really crowded on the weekends, so be prepared to wait.

Finally a restaurant in burbs that stays open late! Past 9:00pm they move onto a discounted menu, so it's ideal to arrive at around 8:45pm so you can order a few dishes right away (I highly recommend the eggplant with shrimp) and follow up with a few discounted dim-sum items later on.
