May 16, 2010 After having two completely unrelated people tell me I should check this restaurant on the same day, I figured it's probably a good place to visit. While there is sushi on the menu, Kappo Nami Nami serves a range of items from salads to grilled dishes to braised dishes, noodles and more. I had planned to have a light meal, but somehow ended up ordering probably the heaviest 3 items on the menu. They were all very good but did feel a bit pricey. I had the seafood pancake (~$11), the pork belly kakuni ($9) and the lobster macaroni gratin ($14) which was delicious by WAY RICH. Would probably go for something lighter in the future. My one big complaint would be that I found the service to be very slow. I think it was over 1/2 hour between ordering and the arrival of our dishes. I'd probably go again, but probably for lunch as it looked like they had more combo items and bento options, which is my kind of thing. :)
