Our friends used to live in the neighbourhood, so I've visted Chez Maman a few times. I like that it's a cozy little bistro and that you can hear the owners speaking French to one another. I also like sitting on the counter and watching the food cooking in action. I'd say things are a little bit on the pricey side ($10.95 for a burger before toppings), but it's good enough that it's worth it. I love their fries with garlic aioli. Yum!

I've been to Chez Mama a few times now. It's very cozy, with just two tables and a bar and on cold days, it's great to sit in front of the grill about 5 feet away :)
Terrific French food. My favorite is the goat cheese burger. Fries are terrific as well - great seasoning.
