(3.5 stars, though read on to find out how to make it 5 stars)

Been here twice now. Each time, the fries were better than the main. Each time the service was slooow and there is no ventilation in the back of the restaurant. The table next to us finished and I heard them say, "Let's get the hell out of here, it's too hot". I'm pretty sure the chairs are patio furniture, certainly as if not less comfortable than the cheapest thing you could buy at Wal-Mart.

If you want a 5-star experience, here's what to do:
Go with 2-3 people. Split a large fries with a sweet crepe among yourselves.
Go in the evenings when it's at least 70oF. This way, you avoid the savory dishes (my savory crepe and baguette were only OK) and you get two dipping sauces for the fries. I think it would 5 stars.

I came here after my roommates went hunting for timbuk2 bags and parked in front of this place. The open space cafe/restaurant specializes in Belgian fries that come in a cone with your choice of 20 dips. I opted for the large fries $4.75 to get 2 dips and got pesto mayonnaise and the chipotle remoulade, both of which were pretty good. I also got their bosch salad $9.75 - a spring mix with quinoa, veggie salami, green onion, tomato, avocado and mango with a tangerine balsamic vinegrette. I knew I was ordering too much food right from the start, but really wanted to try both. The salad was nice and hearty (definitely a full meal on its own), and I actually ended up making two meals out of it by packing half my salad. I'd probably come back.
