My friend heard about this place on NPR, and so we decided to check it out. We made reservations for 7:30 to go on a Friday night. Turns out they don't honour reservations. We waited 30 minutes on arrival, which turned out to be on the short side of average wait times for people with reservations. Upon sitting down though, the waitress made us wait another 30 minutes before she took our order. We tried to flag down various waiters but they all ignored us in between as we watched tables that got seated after us get served.

So it wasn't a great start to the dining experience.

Once our dishes started coming though, I have to admit they were pretty tasty and fairly priced. Everything ranged from about $8 to $15. We ordered the Green Mango salad with soft shelled crab ($11.95), the Pad Thai on the waitress's recommendation ($9.95), the Angel Wings which are supposed to be a highlight ($7.50), a weekend special which was fish in a red curry mousse(~$15), a chicken yellow curry $8.95) and Pad Garlic, which was sauteed prawns with garlic and black pepper ($9.50). We also ordered the coconut rice dessert, which was interesting.

Overall, the food was good, but not quite good enough for a long drive and longer wait.
