I found Hot Tomato's while stranded in Hartford, CT due to a missed bus connection and it was an excellent alternative to the bus station's Dunkin Donuts or Subway sandwiches (although much more expensive)! They serve an "eclectic Northern Italian" fare and their menu was pretty vast in selection. Everything I tried was delicious and the warm, tasty meal was perfect to get me psyched up for the next leg of my bus trip. On the that evening, the patrons seemed to be mostly young professionals and holiday party goers that were dining out at the restaurant.... and then, of course, a few ragged travelers, like myself, wandered in :)
