If what you want is a lot of good food in an unprententious setting, then La Teresita is just what you need! It is located in West Tampa, nearly across the street from Raymond James Stadium (and I have seen Bucs players in there before!) on what is affectionately called "Boliche" Blvd by the locals. You won't get any fancy decorations on your plates, it won't come on fancy platters, but you will get quantities of food that will fill you up body and soul. Each dish offers 2 sides and the choices are difficult. I would recommend going with several people and each ordering something different. The sides come family style and you can share. To date I have never had a poor meal there and to date have never spent more than about 30 dollars on a meal (that was 3 people and several boxes went home). The Salteado is exception as is the Chicken and Yellow Rice. Make sure you check out the daily specials too, you can't go wrong with one of them. If you need Cuban Soul Food, this is the place to go!
