I love Korean food, so I'm always looking for any good excuse to try a place. I found the restaurant to be of surprisingly good value, and quite tasty. Their vegetable side dishes were a little bit on the plain and bland side, and my eyebrows raised at what looked like potato salad on my plate, but they more than made up for it with generous portions of meat, which were prepared quite deliciously. The barbeque meats were well marinated and very tender. And all this for about the same prices back home. In all, very good value. Service is quick too.

Unfortunately we passed on Korean BBQ the first time we saw it and opted for a Thai restaurant instead. Big mistake! Terrific food and cheap. Hawaii/Kauai is supposed to be expensive but a combo plate for $8 isn't what I would consider "expensive". If you're looking for a quick bite, to save a few $ or both, definitely give KBBQ a shot.
