I have been to Shaw's twice and both times my dinner was amazing. The seafood is outstanding. I think making reservations is the best idea even though you may still have to wait a short time. Shaw's is just off Michigan and near all the action. Definitely worth a try if you are in Chicago!

Very beautiful place, food and atmosphere! Pretty busy though...
Order a table beforehand (opentable.com) and don't forget to be 20 min before to have guiness @ the bar :)
