Seafood lovers may be interested in the Village Seafood Buffet.  The buffet, while pricey, offers an assortment of seafood related dishes both hot and cold.  The hot stations include items such as Chinese stirfrys with noodles (with a seafood theme of course), a Mexican station, ahi tuna, hot crab legs with melted butter, langoustines, clam chowder as well as roasted vegetables.  Though this is a seafood themed buffet, meat lovers will also find prime rib and bratwurst in the hot station.

The cold stations includes sushi and sashimi, oysters on the half shell, crab legs and crab claws, as well as prawns.  The size of the items (e.g. shrimp, crab claws) are smaller than more upscale hotels on the main strip, but it's all you can eat.

If you go, be prepared for a long wait of up to an hour.

Having heard about this buffet since I was a gangly teenager, I'd been dying to try this buffet for EVER. Add to the fact that I wasn't able to go the last time, and you can imagine I was hopping with excitement to try the buffet this time around. My road trip buddies had to listen to "buffet strategy" the whole drive down from San Francisco to Vegas. :)

After that kind of preamble, what did I think? I enjoyed my experience. It was a bit pricier than I expected, and some things were overbilled (they claim to offer lobster, but they are actually langoustines), but the food was delicious, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. I'd go again, but not on this trip.

$35 for a seafood buffet in Vegas seems like a pretty good deal until you find out the next morning at brunch in Paris that you could have gotten most everything for $26. Don't get me wrong, the seafood was great (I had about 50 langoustines) but $35 is pretty pricey. Most everything else (prime rib, chicken, desserts) was pretty buffet-average. 4 stars because the seafood was pretty good and the service was pretty good.
