Mar 14, 2009 Look if you're looking for New Mexican food -- there are oh so many choices in NM... But if you want the whole "Enchilada" -- then go to El Pinto on a weekday night in the late spring or early fall and catch yourself hanging out on the outdoor patio... The food, the drink, and the company you bring will not compare. Enjoy the North Valley's ambience. Lest we forget -- the food is amazing. I enjoy several different fares: The burrito dishes well you'll enjoy them all! The combination plates -- well I believe there are like 3-4 to choose from and surely one of them will hit your fancy. The tostadas compuestas -- aren't your traditional flat tostadas but instead toasty corn cups with rich meaty treats in each topped with salad stuffs... I recommend the carne adobada (seriously!) My traditional fav -- the carne adobada burrito served with salad garnish and beans and rice it'll fill you up no prob. And remember the chips and salsa before dinner are a meal in themselves... and the during-after dinner sopapillas are to die for with a little honey on the inside! --Steve
