While my family and I were driving back down to Hot Springs, we decided to look for somewhere to stop for lunch. We happened to see Dale's Family Restaurant and thought that it looked good, so we went in. We were not disappointed. Our initial reaction was to the fact that the whole restaurant was also a gift shop. While seeming somewhat crowded due to the fact that it was a little busy, the place still had a sense of neatness and tidiness. The service was extremely friendly and happy to make recommendations. One thing that was unique when we looked at the menu is that anyone can order off the senior menu. Anybody! While I chose not to, my grandparents and aunt did order from the senior's selection, which also included trips to the salad bar. The salad bar had a very nice selection and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered a cod sandwich which was very delicious. Other members of the family had liver and onions, roast cod, potatoes, etc. Overall, the meals were a great value, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food! I would recommend this family-friendly restaurant to anybody who enjoys scrumptious food at a great value!
