Hands down the best bone-in rib eye I've ever had is here at El Gaucho. The ambience of the restaurant is nice but it's extremely dark... I could hardly see what I was eating. I don't really remember how the sides were. All I remember is that we got a bowl of fruit and nuts to begin with and that delicious steak. This place was recommended to me a few years ago by someone who said it was better than the Chicago Chop House, which I thought was asinine. But since El Gaucho didn't have prime rib, I couldn't really compare the two (yes, that means that the chargrilled prime rib at Chop House is the best prime rib I've ever had).
