Just stay away from this place unless you are heavily armed or have someone heavily armed with you. If you dont mind the less than sanitary conditions its a great place. Do try it in the winter, everything looks beautiful in the winter...especially with the snow. It(snow) covers all the dirt and makes things look nice.

Les fêtes des ONG n'ont rien à envier aux soirées + de 28 ans de l'Amnésia. C'est une ville dangereuse (kidnapping, attentats suicides et à la voiture piégée, brigandage), hygiène lamentable, femmes seules : évitez de voyager, et pour le transport : prévoir pas mal d'inchallah, activités : boire du thé l'après-midi et faire du shopping à Chickenstreet et pour les têtes brûlées le triple saut dans les champs de mines du Shamali.

If your in Kabol, your probably in the military. Bring plenty of bug spray, and anything to keep yourself entertained. The Bizarres are worth going to to send gifts back home. Chow hall is ok, 24hrs a day.

Never walk alone !! or you risk being raped/kidnaped/stabed/muged/murdered/shot/blow up...can happen in a group...or bitten by a crazy dog....other than that a freaking great place to visit !!! =)
