At only 450 square kilometers, Andorra is a tiny country that packs in a lot to do for summer and winter tourists alike. Situated in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, Andorra is very mountainous, meaning that there are ample hiking opportunities in the summer, and fantastic skiing in the winter, where the season can last from December all the way through April. Main ski stations include Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, Soldeu-Tarter, Pal and Arcalis. After you’ve had your fill skiing, stop in Caldea, one of Europe’s largest health spas with over 6000 square metres of thermal water, including large indoor and outdoor lagoons, Jacuzzis, and Indo-Roman baths. Andorra is also a popular shopping destination, due to its duty free status.
