Buenos Aires Dos and Don'ts

Buenos Aires is a great city. Make sure to check out the art galleries and the local cafes.

Head to San Telmo, go down side streets to find great hole in the wall restaurants - "Don Ernesto" is one we found by accident - take your time!

Get to know a local. Locals will teach you more about the city than any tour will- they will show you an insiders view of the city, and you may even improve your spanish!

Buenos Aires, Argentina Make sure you stay in Palermo, the hippest but still very 'down-to-earth' neighbourhood in BsAs. You'll find great Bars and Restaurants, cute little shops and cheap designer boutiques. Check out the little art stores!! Especially the one on El Savador in Palermo Viejo. This is a very very small store between Uriarte and Thames (I believe, but it's on 'El Salvador' for sure and also in that area!!). It's run by mother and doughter and they are more than willing to help you. They can tell you a lot about the local artists and craftsmen. Have fun!!! BsAs is THE greatest city!!!!
