Best Time to Visit Argentina
Mendoza, Cuyo Region, Argentina
Brilliant town with lots to do. Do the wine tour, you can do it by bike, just make sure the bike you rent is in good condition because the roads are pretty rough, worth it for the Malbec though. There's also extremely fun paragliding nearby. I also had some of the best food in Argentina here, and also the worst (Sunday lunch isn't a good time to get a meal in Mendoza!). Word of warning about clubs; all the decent ones are a taxi ride out of town and you have to be there before 2PM (unusual for Argentina) because the police have banned entrance after that.

Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina
In a ny adventure activity how you dress can make a big difference on whether you have a great time or not. If you feel uncomfortable, too cold or too hot most probably your tour experience won't be as good. Due to the changing weather, and to enjoy your trekking or hiking experience I recommend you bring the following items:
• A windbreaker jacket
• Comfortable trekking boots or shoes, rubber soles are best
• Sun glasses to protect your eyes from the sun on summer and spring
• Sun screen on summer and spring

Puerto Iguazu, Litoral Region, Argentina
If you're into adventure, you should definitely visit the waterfalls at Iguazu. You can few the falls from either Argentina or Brazil, but it is best to visit the Argentina side because the views are better. The best time to visit is during the South American summer (December- March) because more water springs from the falls making them even more beautiful to look at. While you're in the area, you can also chill on the Rio Iguazu. It borders three nations: Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. I actually stood at the base of the river in Argentina and I could look acroos the river and see Brazil and Paraguay simultaneously. It's really a great place to visit. Iguazu National Park also has activities for those who want to experience the falls at a more up close and personal level. This is best for those who don't want spend their entire trip taking pictures amongst a sea of tourists. http://www.iguazuargentina.com/

Argentina, Northwestern Argentina, Argentina
The best time of the year to go in early summer and fall. Winters are drizzly and dreary and winter weather pretty much runs through most of spring.

The Diplomatic Hotel, your best secretary
Mendoza has become one of the most important locations to make business. Due to its strategic location, right next to the border between Argentina and Chile, many regional industries have its birthplace in this endowed region of Latin America. Not only is Mendoza famous for its wineries, but also, a wide range of activities are led here: oil extraction, mining and manufacturing industries develop all year round.
Hence, there is a large number of businessmen who have to travel to Mendoza, because of labor obligations.
It is clear that “just a place to crash” is not enough. These people often travel on a short schedule, where they have to meet several obligations. So, having an institution such as the Diplomatic Hotel to back them up is more than welcome. So, if they travel to Mendoza, they’ll probably need somebody to take care of their transportation needs. The Diplomatic Hotel is here to help. Also, they will need to get in touch, by phone or online. The Diplomatic Hotel has taken care of all that too. In case it is required, they can count with a 3 G cell phone, for as long as they stay. Also, the whole place has wifi connectivity, so, they are able to use their laptops anywhere they choose. They can grab a coffee at the bar, while they read their email, or run their presentations. Or, if the occasion suits it, they can have a glass of the finest Argentine wines at the Wine Tasting Room.
No speak Español? No worries. The Diplomatic Hotel can provide a translator to help you communicate, and even a secretary, to assist you with all your needs. Courier service is also available.
In case it is required, the Diplomatic Hotel has a business center, where guests can access two computers, with printer and scanner, so as to wrap up their presentations or contracts, or whatever they might need to print.
But all work and no fun, you know how the saying goes. Time for lunch or dinner. The Diplomatic Hotel has the La Bourgogne Restaurant. Here, guests can enjoy the most exquisite haute cuisine, combined with the fines Argentine wines. In sum, a place devoted to the senses.
The Diplomatic Hotel is the ideal secretary while you stay in Mendoza. The hotel staff is ready to assist you 24/7, all year round, in three different languages. It is all set so that you feel the Diplomatic Hotel is your home, abroad.

El Calafate, Patagonia, Argentina
If you going to el calafate, go to the american backpackers,  the best backpackers in south america. The place is magic, the people are so nice and... honest. I already had an excelent impression before that happened. What? I left the hotel took my bus to chile when I realised I forgot my money belt with 2000 euros in cash in my bed!!! I tried to call them before passing the border but there were no signal. When I finaly got them on the found I couldn t believe it. They found it (they could say there were nothing, I would never go back there anyway) and to avoid me to changes  my plans in my trip and have to come back to el calafate, they went to the post office, bought an envelope and gave it to the bus driver so he could bring it to me on the next day!!!When I proposed to take some money to thanks them, they refused. We were in Argentina and 2000 euros is quiet a lot of money for them, there was no ID or papers in the moneybelt only money and they gave it back to me. Not sure at all the same would have happend in europe. Thanks a lot  again for your honesty and I definatly recommend that place...

Lago Puelo, Patagonia, Argentina

My Experience at the Park Suites
Hello everyone, my name is Martin. I am from New York. I’m 53 years young (LOL) and now that I am not that much into my business, I would like to take the time with my wife Claire to see other parts of world.
Business has taken me far and wide around the world, for the last 25 years. So I have been to most of the major capitals of the Europe, Asia and America. Also I got to know Africa, the northern part of the continent mostly.
I was walking down 5th Avenue, when the window of a travel agency called my attention. They had these beautiful photos of some huge mountains, and an incredibly beautiful landscape. I thought it was the Alps, but when I took a closer look it read “Mendoza, Argentina”. I immediately set my mind to go there with Claire. She surely would love it. She is a real fan of outdoors activities, biking, walking and mount climbing. But when it comes to crushing, we hate tents, and poor hotels. We want to be treated as king and queen. So, I asked the travel agent to get the best place in Mendoza. Immediately he said “The Diplomatic Park Suites”.
When I looked at the Park Suites’ photos, I was dazzled. I was as eager to get to know Mendoza, as I was to get to know the Park Suites. Claire and I thought it was beautiful and wondered how big it all was. You know, when you see a picture sometimes, it has nothing to do with what it really looks like.
So, we made up our minds, and there we were, on the plane, heading for Mendoza.
As soon as we got off the plane, at the Mendoza International Airport, the Park Suites’ driver was waiting there, to take us straight to the airport. We much appreciated this, because we were rather tired after almost half a day on the plane. But as we looked out of the car windows, we realized this was worth it. The landscape is spectacular. It’s one of the most beautiful places on this planet, with the ever snowed peaks and those green endless valleys.
As soon as we arrived at the Park Suites we were speechless. The double-height hall and the marbled stairs were incredible, and the staff, so gentle and eager to help. The check in took only a couple of minutes, after which we were led to our rooms.
What a great vacation at the Park Suites! I really recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this amazing area of Argentina. One hundred percent quality time guaranteed!

Puerto Iguazu, Litoral Region, Argentina
Spend a night at the Sheraton inside the Argentina side of the park. Make sure to go over to the Brazil side while you are there. If you do not have a visa, the taxi driver will take you across the border with a "propina" for the border guard.

Puerto Iguazu, Litoral Region, Argentina
Iguazu Falls are absolutely unbelievable!!!! To hell with Niagra falls, it has nothing on this place. Situated on the border between Argentina and Brazil, it is phenomenal from either country. Just be forewarned, if you wish to view it from the Brazilian side....you need a Visa to enter. Either that, or 100 Brazilian Real to bribe the border patrol :) Not that I would know?!?!?

The Invaluable Guia "T"

When you land at EZE and clear customs, immediately visit the information booth and pick up the Guia "T". You'll find a comprehensive map of Capital Federal and detailed maps of each barrio along with tourist destinations and places of interest. The route and stops for each of the over 200 collectivo (bus) lines and entire rail system are included and when properly used can save you loads of pesos over using taxies. This get-around guide fits in your back pocket and should stay there your entire trip.

Puerto Iguazu, Litoral Region, Argentina
Stunning place and well worth the trip if you have to go out of your way to get there. On the Argentine side a train brings you into the National Park (no cars allowed) and I'd recommend going to the last stop first as if you run out of time by visiting the other stops first you'll miss the highlight of the falls - the Devil's Throat. Amazing.
