Travel Tips from people who've been to Aruba

Good tip? (0) This is the weirdest most over-rated place I've travelled to in the Caribbean. Granted, I didn't spend a lot of time there - just a day. Notice how the pictures always show the fab beaches and they are fine if you're a beach person.
Go inland and it's like you're in the desert in Yuba Arizona or something with rocks and cactus all over. Very weird in the middle of the Caribbean. Not at all tropical and lush like Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia and the other islands. Good tip? (0) When in Aruba, be aware of lizards. They are everywhere. Personally, they don't bother me, but to some they are as disgusting as snakes or spiders would be. They jump out of the trees, and if you are walking in the grass barefoot, you are sure to step on a few. Overall, they are harmless, however if you hate these reptiles, then beware! Good tip? (0)
