I can't think of any reason why anyone would "travel" to Belconnen but then I grew up in Canberra and perhaps I take it for granted. I guess Lake Ginninderra is nice and I occasionally trip out there for a walk around the lake. The Australian Institute of Sport which is located out that way  is quite interesting. There is the Belconnen Mall which if you like shopping malls is not too bad as it has the basics like Kmart and Myer. It always annoyed me that it didn't have The Body Shop though as I am rather partial to The Body Shop. I can't think of anything else to add about Belconnen.

Belconnen is a northerly suburb in Canberra, The Capital of Australia.
This is the area were I grew up.
Great for raising family with losts of posabilites.
