Terrigal is a great place to see. It is only small but has so much to offer.
The beach there is great for families with young kids or those who are not used to the beach and/or rough surf. The surf here is generally quite small and it is also a patrolled beach.
There are many places to eat in the heart of terrigal although be aware that some places can be quite expensive. There are also a few shops that you can visit but once again due to the high volume of tourists can be pricey again.
There is also the Skillion which is another great sight to see. Public transport runs often through Terrigal to other places such as Erina Fair - the main shopping complex.
If you are after night life there is the Terrigal Pub which goes off on a Friday and Saturday night. These nights it is pretty dressy other than that there is the Beer Garden which is just outside Crown Plaza this can be more laid back. They have good food here also nd not too badly priced.
