0203The easiest and most popular way to explore Hamilton Island is to hire a golf buggy during your stay. However, for all you rev heads out there, i highly recommend not attemping to take the incredibly steep hill down to the hotel rooms at top speed in wet weather. During a 360 i was flung from my buggy and just about took out some pedestrians aswell. Fortunately no harm was done as i miraculously landed on my feet! But it could have been a recipe for disaster.

0820PARADISE. Snorkeling, beautiful beaches, it also has it's own zoo and we got to hold koalas, although that might be illegal now. We had cockatoos and lorikeets coming to our balconies and perching on our arms. It was amazingly beautiful.

0113If travel restrictions (weight) are not a problem then I recommend that you bring your own drinks. You can buy them locally but there is a limited choice (there is one supermarket otherwise it would be from restaurants, cafes or hotel).
