Travel Tips from people who've been to Rainbow Beach
  002this is great if u have a 4wd and can do travellign along the ebach for a better look. If you dont and just want to walk around there really isnt alot here to do. Go back to Tin Can Bay or hervey Bay if you want to be able to do more and get out more. The beach is lovely but once seen is not somthing you want to rush back to. Is really removed from the main highway, Good tip? (0)  0711Rainbow Beach, pitstop to Fraser Island... Fraser is a brilliant weekend... its different!!! Stay in Dingos and go with their tour group jeeps. Sound and down to earth and the hostel is good craic. Great bargains for Breakfast and dinner... Good tip? (0)  0101rent a four wheel drive Jeep and drive fast along the beach to the ferry which is leaving to fraser island!!!!!!!!! It's amazing!! the water to your right, rocks to your left and under and next to you wonderful white beach..should I say more??? Good tip? (0)
