Underwater World  Mooloolaba
Located right on the waterside at the Mooloolaba Wharf Complex, Underwater World offers an unforgettable experience for young and old alike. Enjoy the sights of huge sharks and rays swimming right beside your head as you pass through the clear tunnels right underneath the aquariums. Enjoy the free seal show. Stop for a snack or a coffee... There are so many different ways to stay in you go hotels and hostels, and much much more..
Good tip?
If you're going to visit Australia Zoo - home of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin - plan ahead!  There are some awesome 'experiences' where you can interact with various animals - eg lemurs, wombats, dingoes, echidnas, possums, giant tortoises, and rhinos.  They range between $20 and $60 per person, but there are only a couple of spots a day for each animal, so if you wait til you get there you'll miss out.  Check out their website to pre-book.
Good tip?
Went to Sunshine coast in 2007 during the floods and guess what, the apartment flooded and I had to hold an umbrella over myself on the loo LOL Couldnt leave Noosa cos roads were flooded but all in all, a drunken week!
