0132Warwick is one of my fave places to visit but you have to go when Warwick Rodeo is on. It's one of the biggest in Aus and even if your not into the rodeo part the entertainment makes it great. They had the best music, everyone was friendly, everyone was blind, everyone was dancing on tables and there were dogem cars as well. We stayed at the Horse and Jockey and I consider it to be a good motel. During the day we cooled off at the Aqutic Centre. 6/10

050232Located 162 km southwest of Brisbane and 480 m above sea level, Warwick is a thriving and attractive town which can claim to be the first important settlement in inland Queensland.
Warwick Rodeo which is held each October. Warwick is the headquarters of the Australian Rough Riders Association. October is also the month when the city has its Rose Festival.
