Glenelg is a popular beach-side suburb of Adelaide and is located on the Gulf Saint Vincent.
It was established in 1836 and is the oldest European settlement on mainland South Australia.
The Holdfast Marina in Glenelg North includes shops, restaurants and apartment buildings with their own private marina.

Getting TO/AROUND: The only tram line still operating in Adelaide is the Glenelg Tram which runs from Moseley Square in Glenelg to the Adelaide CBD.
This route goes back to 1873 and it still operates on weekends and holidays.

A lovely beach a special tram ride through the suburbs of Adelaide.  Great to stay at or for a day out for lunch and some shopping.
