There is very little to see or do in Queenstown.  It is an old mining town.  We drove through and I was ill and had to present to the Queenstown Hospital, they were really nice, but seriously under equipped.  Turned out I was sick because I was pregnant, but they did not even have pregnancy tests there - I had to wait until I got back to Hobart.  Bring everything you need and don't expect things to be available!!
