Don't forget it is a small inland town. Life's just going slow there. Usually service is quite different from what you'd expect in a bigger city. So just give it a time. Do not expect to eat in 20 minutes. Think about an hour instead.

A nice thing to do is to take a boat trip on Murray River. It's an old steam boat and you get drinks and snacks on board.
