Travel Tips from people who've been to Busselton
definetly go to the busselton jetti because when you do you can ride a train or walk to the end (be prepared to walk more than a kilometre though) at the end there is a cool staircase where you can walk below the water level and there are huge windows where you can see the fish. on your way to and from the fish place there are lots of friendly locals fishing on the jetti.
This is a pub town where local communities come together, get drunk and air their grievances on all and sundry. The greatest for Aussie small town chic has to be the Sail n Anchor. You could go visit the yuppie gardens along the coastline and join the daytrippers from Perth, but for local colour this can't be beat.
Tthe best time to visit Busselton Jetty is between November and May, Australia's summer and early Autumn months. The remaining months bring strong west and north-west winds which make diving rough and boating dangerous. It is diveable between storms, but visibility is usually less than impressive.
