Near the end of my travels to Perth, I took a day's surf class in Lancelin.  It was fantastic!  They pick you up at oh-my-goodness-it's-early o'clock at the bus station in Perth, and drop you off afterwards.  They've also got surf-school that's up to a week long.

As it was, I could barely move after one day... :)
