On the plus side, the Kirchtag festival in August is a delight and this is a pretty little (very little!) town.  On the negative side, the fries in NordSee are not salted and they try to insist that you eat them with ketchup and mayo, the heathens.  Not a bottle of vinegar in sight, either.

Best bars to go out: Per Du and Flaschl. Both in the inner city of Villach.

Best italian restaurants: Trastevere (inner city) and Dobner. (between Villach and Faaker See)
