The village is tiny, but the center of the national park Donauauen (Danube floodplains) is located there. The museum is worth a visit - short but very interesting and interactive tour, you also get a bit of an insight into the demonstrations against a hydroplant in the 80ies, which in the end was the starting point for planning a national park.
The Schlossinsel (outside area of the national park centre) shows some of the animals that live there, but that you wouldn't usually be able to see in nature, and it also teaches you to notice and interpret the signs animals leave...
