For travelling from the airpot to the city and vice versa use the ordinary "S-Bahn" not the promoted airport-express CAT.
It only lasts 5 minutes longer and is much cheaper (1,70€ compared to 8€)
Graz, Styria State, Austria
Great town to visit in Summer. The Armory museum is worth a visit. The main center is concentrated and can be seen on foot. Visit the tourist agency to get a map of the town as attractions are difficult to find at times.

When I went here in 1992, I was able to do a tour of the Opern Ring between trains.  I had a taxi take me to the Stepansdome.  From there I walked to the Hofburg where I toured the museum of Hapsburg family bric-a-brac.  Then I caught lunch (Wiernerschnitzel, of course) down the street and caught my cab in front of the Hotel Sacher where I missed out on eating a Sachertorte.
