Salzburg, Salzburg State, Austria
A couple of things you should do if you have a little more time in Salzburg; Go to the Museum der Moderne on the Monchsberg. Go to the AugustinerBrau for really good Austrian food, good beer and cheap prices in a great environment. Go to the Steinterrassencafe in the Hotel Stein, just next to the main bridge- you get a great view over the centre. Sit in Mirabell Gardens for a bit, you'll see all the locals sunning themselves. Have Sacher Torte, the Hotel Sacher cafe has the best but it's quite expensive. Mozart Kugeln obviously- but buy the ones from the Konditorei Furst (the silver ones) because they're the originals. Mozart's Geburthaus is quite boring, his Wohnhaus is quite cool. In summer, go to the Eisgrotte on Getreidegasse for amazing ice cream. Cafe Tomaselli isn't really that expensive; if you go have the apfelstrudel. It's immense. If you have half a day to spare go up to the Untersberg (a mountain), on a sunny day the view is amazing. Failing that the view from the Hohensalzburg Fortress good. Get a Salzburg Card- you can get in pretty much any touristy place free plus you don't have to pay for buses.
Vienna, Vienna State, Austria
If you're looking for something else for a change when visiting Vienna, you might want to consider a stay at the Austria Trend Event Hotel Pyramide in Wien Vösendorf. It is a 4-star hotel with a wonderful tropical swimming pool inside (and outside) a large pyramid structure. There are also inside tennis courts and other sportive activities. Also a great place for your conference or business meetings!http://www.tagungsplaner.de/en/hotel/austria-trend-eventhotel-pyramide-wien-voesendorf

Try the wiener schnitzel! It's tasty and thin.
Klagenfurt, Karnten State, Austria
If you are bored with dull beaches and hot-dog stands... go discover Austria! We were in Klagenfurt a long-long time ago with my sister and a group of kids from school to learn German, and we enjoyed it a lot. It's a wonderful place, pieceful, with a beautiful scenery, really idealic if you'd just like to get back to nature. Austrians are really lovely people, helpful, appretiating that we tried to speak German :-D so we had a great time. Weather was great during the summer, warm, fresh, and it was only raining during the nights :-)I'm recommending it for everyone who seeks a getaway from cities - for a week or two just to be among those amazing mountains, wonder around where christal clear lakes come you by and suddenly you will hear your own thoughts! :-)
