fulpmes is great if you like sport;
the best is for all kinds of winter sport;
but even in summer and autumn you can do a lot more than just go hiking or climb a mountain;
the whole valley lives more or less from tourism, but it is not overcrowded!!! you might find more information under:

you find a lot of different restaurants, where everyone finds something for his taste; the nightlife is not as good as in the close village of neustift; but fulpmes has good bus shedule and is right in the middle between innsbruck and the stubai glacier;
it is not the worlds cheapest place but you get something for your money; you might find good hotel offers or ski-tickets out of high season; a good time is for skiing is end of october beginning of november, late january and before eastern
to sum it up - fulpmes is worth a trip for the sporty one, with a medium budget!
