Go visit the Ice Palace (Natur Eis Palast) underneath the Hintertuxer Glacier. A rare fenomenon of nature: natural ice caves. Beautiful and alway changing. Take the gondola in Hintertux to the top (3 gondola rides take you up to 3250 meters). There you'll see the sign to the Natur Eis Palast.

After your visit, on your way down, also make a stop at the Spannagelhöle. A labyrinth of caves that are also open to the public and are worthwile of your visit. (located at a short walk of the gondola stop Tuxer Fernerhaus) Choose between a guided tour of 1 hour or a 'cave trekking' of 4 hours.
