Travel Tips from people who've been to Steyr
Steyr is beautifully situated at a rivercrossing - which also carries the danger of floodings each year. Nearby you find the village "Christkindl" - especially known around Christmas since the Austrians believe in the "Christchild" and not in Santa Claus. You'll find all year round a wonderful chrismas market with ornaments and christmas stuff Good tip? (0) I would recommend the center of styria in the christmas time. you have the chance to drive with the old post-bus to Christkindl, where a big christmas market is and also the christmas "post-office". in the castle of steyr is a christmas market as well, but you have to pay an small entry fee (but it's worth it). i love this city, it's very special for me. Good tip? (0) Go to Steyr, visit the post office in Christkindl (a cute little village not far from Steyr) and post your letter for the Christkind. There's no better way to send your Christmas wishes. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Steyr
