ADD TO LISTAl Manamah (also known as Manama) is the capital of Bahrain and is also the largest city in Bahrain, containing over 20% of its population. It is located in the northeast of Bahrain and is also close to the Bahrain International Airport. Interesting sights include the Tree of Life, which is a solitary tree in the middle of the desert (45 minutes south of town), as well as the huge Al-Fateh Mosque.

Travel Tips from people who've been to Al Manamah
Do NOT promote what country you are from! Some locals may not like you. VERY hot, dress accordingly. Women should not expose too much skin. do NOT stare at local women. It could cause fights and/or get you arrested. the last place you want to be is in a jail in the middle east. they DO NOT extradite.
Went to manama, Bahrain! Great place to be and explore the city around the center as well! The warbler and the olympic sports bar are great to go to for the night and have drink or dinner! Want to play some sports, there is enough to find in bahrain! Play field hockey, go to BHA, Bahrain Hockey Association!
Hunter's Lodge, Manama.
As with any place that serves alcohol in Bahrain, it's expensive. But it's a lively crowd, and you can have your steak right at the bar.
Also, if you're a gay male prostitute, Saudi businessmen will hit on young white guys all night.
