barbados can be a hot place, so carry a bottle of water, and if you can visit in the cooler months, november and december, i'm told! it was so hot for me, and i had a cheaper room etc! so if you are loaded with lots of cash, you should have a great time on the island. its quite pricy, but its not very prohibitive.!! overall! excellent place really. a lot of history, its worth the heat!! and the culture, and music obviously...raga, reagae, calypso, and cricket!!
nightlife is busy. try the st.lawrence gap on fridays and saturdays!! there is plenty of salsa too! and the premier league is shown in plenty of sports bars there!!
